From the days of the Weimar Republic to the present, Berlin has been a beacon of queer culture and activism. The city's history, marked by periods of both oppression and liberation, has forged a unique environment where creativity flourishes against a backdrop of resilience and inclusivity. In this dynamic setting, the queer narrative propels forward, challenging the mainstream at every intersection.

Through photography, "Berlin’s Queer Pioneers" invites its audience to witness the compelling stories of those who continue to enrich Berlin's queer landscape, in a city where queerness is inextricably intertwined with the sense of place.
